Reward for helping !

As we all know and as mentioned in the previous post that Rajdhani train caught fire in 3 wagons, though none of the passengers were badly injured. And this was made possible by the pantry workers in the train as they rushed to help people in the wagons and inform them about the incident and detached the wagons of the train so that the overall harm and devastation could be reduced.
For doing such a remarkable help and shoiwng a true example of bravery, the train employees were given mere Rs. 3000. Which implies 333.33 Rs/- per employee as there were in all 9 employees.
The passengeres were given Rs. 5000 each
And And And the worldcup winners were given milions of Rs.
This can happen only here in India that saviour is not given anything rather the one saved is still given some. PPssstttt

Akon concert - A success in Delhi and Gurgaon

After the Bryan Adamns concert failure , Delhi got what they needed and for what they were despartely waiting for, the success of akon concert speaks it all. yet again proved that no one can beat them when it comes to partying.

Even Akon himself screamed at a crowd of over 2000 "Delhi you guys are the party animals"
A large part of the rapper’s performance involved gimmicks — from  singing inside a zorb-ball and crowd surfing, to splashing 20 bottles of water into screaming fans.

The rapper got everyone grooving to songs such as Smack That, Don’t Matter and Party Animal. At one point he stripped off his shirt and jumped into the crowd, calling on fans to take off their shirts too.
Seeing the energy of India, Akon wants to come back next year " “India is like my second home. I think I’ll be buying a house here. We’re also planning a vacation in India, let’s see,” he says. Completing his desi-connection for the night, was his wife Rosina, who wore lehenga-choli. He says he plans to don a desi-avatar too. “Yeah, I’ll wear something Indian soon.”

India Rocks !!!

Infy in trouble !

Infosys' profit in the three months has gone down by a fair level. NSE and BSE both 317 points down.

Increasing competition with TCS, the biggest software exporter in India, and other companies is also increasing churn rate. Attrition in the fourth quarter was 17% compared with 13.4% a year ago, Infosys said. The goal of senior executive empowerment is laudable, but multiple responsibilities for business heads might be causing under-performance in some areas.
Infosys has lagged behind peers in some emerging and growing businesses. In many of the emerging areas, such as infra management, testing services and BPO, Infosys has lagged behind TCS in terms of revenue growth. Infosys's infra management top line grew by only 13.6% in CY10, compared to 39.5% for TCS, while BPO services grew by 17% compared to 23% for TCS. The one area in which Infosys has done particularly well is enterprise solutions.

The first Jan LokPal bill meeting help today - Thank-You Anna Hazare

The joint drafting committee of the Lokpal Bill met for the first time in New Delhi today, exactly a week after social activist Anna Hazare ended his four-day hunger strike after the government gave in to most of his demands.
The meeting started at around 11:30 am and went on for almost two-and-a-half hours.

"The meeting was fruitful, everyone made valuable contribution. We all want the Bill to be introduced in the Monsoon Session," Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal told reporters after the meeting.

The 10-member joint committee met at North Block and discussed the procedures to be followed for drafting of the anti-graft bill.

Mr Sibal said both sides presented their perspective on the proposed legislation. The latest draft presented by the civil society representatives had "significant" proposals, he added. He said the committee would discuss the draft provided by the activists along with the draft cleared by the Standing Committee which would be circulated
The meeting was chaired by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee. Other panel members who attended the meeting include Home Minister P Chidambaram, Law Minister Veerappa Moily, Water Resources Minister Salman Khursheed, former Law Minister Shanti Bhushan (co-chairman), Anna Hazare, eminent lawyer Prashant Bhushan, Karnataka Lokayukta Santosh Hegde and RTI activist Arvind Kejriwal.

The panel will next meet on May 2 to decide on the modality of public consultations on the legislation, Mr Sibal said.

Anna Hazare, who led the campaign that forced the government to agree to the constitution of the joint committee, said the meeting went off well. "It is because of you we achieved this success," he told reporters.

Today's meeting took place in the shadow of a CD controversy allegedly involving panel co-chairman Shanti Bhushan.
